Your writings are appreciated more than you can ever know.

I have recently acquired, while digging out from the recent snow, the dubious experience of dealing with sacroiliac troubles. The pain has been intense, and there is no position that I can find, to ease the pain while trying to sleep. I've just ordered up some Vana seeds, based on this information. Thank you!

Happy to deliver you useful information.

" I feel your pain". That plant is a great one to have around. Hops is another surprising member of the pain relief armamentarium.

On the farm we overdo our backs all the time, and we like our natural products, including the topicals with arnica in them. I needed that one last night after a 12 hr soapmaking run, which always involves lots of heavy lifting.

I like to add tulsi leaves to my Thai curry dishes and I also use it in my topical salve as an anti microbial (antiseptic) agent.

Here is my recipe for the salve:

Cooool

I’ve seen your salve recipe

Thanks for sharing it here.

People could do a cannabidiol version too, if that suits their locale and circumstances.

This plant is yummy. Reminds me a little of chinese 5 spice. So complex 😎

If We Win - There will be a wonderful blessing from the Plant Kingdom for All on Our Planet Earth

weedom1's avatar

To me, winning looks like taking good care of everything our Creator gives us. For sure the plants would get happy about that. 😎

If We win research dollars will flow into the practical use of plants etc for maintaining health and in treating illness. Regular medicinal use of plants will become much more widespread.

If we win -

The Battle For The Future Of Life On Our Planet Earth Taking Place Now - GOD / GOOD vs evil

A Long Planned Coming Golden Age of Freedom And Opportunity For All vs

"their", the evil's, long planned, information control, mind control, economic control, total control worldwide surveillance state leading to evil's genetically modified, depopulated, dystopian taking of Our Planet Earth rendering Our Earth unfit for the Life and Freedom and Opportunity necessary for the advancement and fulfillment of Souls created by God.

🙏🏽for people to listen to our Creator, and build conscientiously, in harmony with nature. 🙏🏽

Research will continue to fail when done by evil means and with stolen money. Real research must be funded and done by benevolent and truth seeking people.

Thank you for this through article. I have tulsi tea and grow it and now will be much more intentional about gathering and using it.

Thank YOU. These really are special plants.

I wish we had the ability to post pictures in the comments. Guess that's what chat is for. I'll start one.

I ordered Rama and Krishna Tulsi seeds, because I need good pics, plus it will be cool to host them at weedom again.

Miigwech, thank you 🙏🏻 I just discovered Tulsi last month and it has saved my life. My blood pressure is regulated, and depression isn't as bad. I never knew the history. What a beautiful herb.

Brahma (creator) - Vishnu (preserver) and Shiva (destroyer), as I was taught, The "Eastern" Trinity / "Trimurti of Hindu deities", much the equivalent of Father - Son - and Holy Spirit - The "Western" Trinity.

As my Guru once said "We are All Ancient Hindus"

weedom1's avatar

For sure we are all connected.

Some skeptics argue that the religions are like a plagiarized story.

I see the persistent Trinity concept more as a consensus of what people can understand, (with our little brains) about the characteristics of our Creator.

We could all debate about who has the closest description, and thereby keep ourselves out of worse trouble :-D

I have managed to get Tulsi to "weed" in my garden. One has grown well in the pavers of a pathway so now you have to walk around the path onto the grass to get to the front door! 😀

I think it's the Rama variety going by your description.

I grow it for the bees. It seems to do best when grown as a mass planting in it's own bed which creates a good place for the bees to fly from one flower to the next.

I'm encouraged to make tea with it now. Thank you

Lucky you! Bet you’ll like that tea.

And you might find all sorts of applications for the flavor.

The herbalism conference I attended last summer had a class on herbal cocktails and a mixologist serving them.

Tulsi was one of the main drink additives as infused honey.
