I would add that nurse Caisse injected the Essiac, and eventually some lady dropped dead probably from anaphylactic shock, which I am told stemmed the flow of pilgrims. I tried it many years ago, after being dxed with lymphoma, and did not see any change. Premade it was ridiculously expensive.
As I researched I encountered a story that Caisse was injecting one of the components. Maybe the manufacturing of injectables was part of what caused the government to go after her.
Imagine pumping the full amount of whole plant extracts into people. We have enough problem with the biologicals of today, which are much more highly purified. Even vancomycin in the early days was fairly messy. It was interesting to see it become cleaner and more uniform in appearance as the years went by, and dosing tolerances go up (as the "buggs" became more resistant).
Was the Essiac product that you used a tincture or a tea?

Oncology is Not my specialty, but I understand that people are now being treated within the U.S. with mycobacterial products for some cancers now, such as bladder cancer. So this kind of immunotherapy is catching on.
At that time, there was a lab in Canada manufacturing it, and a few clinics around the world where you could get it. I tried contacting several but was only able to find a functional program at the CHIPSA hospital in Tijuana. I understand they make the toxins in Mexico now, and the St. Andrews clinic there has an ongoing program. The US law specifies that if you begin an alternative treatment abroad you can bring it with you as you return, for self-administration.
